Hey Mom!! Great week in Mexico!! Had a baptism for a kid of a recent convert family.  He swam out of the font it was really funny.  Blake Garner got his mission call to Mexico City East!!!  Yeah boy!  I love that sooooo much!  My companion is fine we have  both been taking medicine to kill parasites this week.
Mrs. Hartvigson is here in Villahermosa, she talked to my district leader and they told me they saw her yesterday!  Pretty crazy!  The doctors here are equivilant to a four year nursing degree, we really try not to use them unless we have to.
Tell Grandma Happy Birthday!!  I got a letter from Grandma DeVries and Mackenzie that was sent  five weeks ago.  It costs like 40 pesos to send a letter which is a lot!

I didn't run out of money.  I need to still get the rest of it off the card but the ATM ate my card.  ha!ha!
Tell everyone I am doing fine
and loving the mission even though
the language is difficult.  I pray for
you guys always!  I started excercising
this week!

We have an investigator that is set to be baptized on Saturday.  We have been teaching him for almost a month.  Hopefully everything will work out this week for him.  The Spanish is coming but we hardly have time to study because of our crazy busy lives.

Thanks Dad for the scriptures!  This week was great but I need to work harder on my studies.  Love you and hope to hear from you soon.  Right now we are headed to go buy a bag that is bigger to fit all my stuff in.  Then we are going to get our clothes.  Tonight we are having Family Home Evening with a less active family.
After Family Home Evening we will head home and take inventory of our day and study.  I am really enjoying it!  Tell Luke I love him!!!  I miss that little guy and I promise to hangout with him when I get home!!  any news?

Love you Mom and Dad thank you for making me who I am!  Okay!  Love you mom!  Talk to you next week!  Pretty crazy that by next week I will have three months in the mission!  KCYA!!!

Hey Mom!  I am doing great!
Hunter one month in Mexico!  We are really making progress!
Whitney will love it in Little Rock, Arkansas, I have two friends
that are going there.  Two kids called us handsome this week
which made us laugh pretty hard.  Mexico has really been great
and we had a great zone class last Tuesday.

I had a thought!
We as members are missionaries therefore we are fishers
of men.  But how I look at this is this church is a ship that is similar
to Noah's.  This ship will save all those that are lost in the waters
of this wicked world.  We are the crew as members with the Prophet and Apostles as our leaders or captains.  Our goal is to continue to maintain the vessel and cast our own nets or life preservers to the people out in the waters.  To then get them aboard and dried off.  Then we show them that we have the bread of life and the everlasting spring that will always keep them well nourished.  Then we tell them they must go out into the storm on the top deck and work alongside the other members and continue to save more and more.

New Guitar!

Yummy Fruit!
My week was great, I forgot my journal. Sorry!  Church was fine, it was a lot of the same old same old.  I lost my card today, so they had to cancel my mission card today.  But thankfully I already got all the money off of it. ha! ha!  I get a new one in three weeks or so.  The store had peanut mm's for a good sized pack  for 6 pesos and when we went to the counter it rang up 25 pesos.  And I got two packs, so my comp and I spent 100 pesos on what we thought was a bargain.  The stores here are crazy honestly!  But I love it!  Been out 4 weeks it is pretty crazy how time flies!  I know it can't be the same old same old I live in a different country and speak a different language.  Everyday I see things that would make your insides turn out.  It is all part of this culture and somehow they survive and have xbox!!!ha!ha!  My companion has a parasite and he has been taking a million different kinds of medicine.  Hopefully they have found the right one.  They just keep giving you different ones and asking you what side effects you are having. CRAZY!  I am taking my vitamins and oils and praying I don't get sick.  We deep cleaned today, apparently it is rare for missionaries to really clean their house.  Well hope you are glad to know I am different and smarter than most, mostly just trying not to get some kind of disease.  I also got a guitar the other day!!  Send me some song tabs for the guitar in the mail and email.  Blake and Taylor should
be visiting soon.  I really wish I could hug you guys once
more, but I have work to do and I am pretty excited to
do it!!!  I love you give everyone a hug for me! Love You!

Dad!
I am doing great!  It was a really rough week for my companion.  The people are great and I am humbled everyday by their circumstances.  The climate is hot and humid but I am loving it!  Dad honestly I had my heart torn out this week.  One of our investigators doesn't want to be baptized because he doesn't want to have the priesthood because it is too much work.  The people find it hard to see the blessings that come from the gospel even when we explain it.  It has been so hard I really want him to join the church.  The weird thing is he attends church every Sunday.  Anyway I am glad to see my apartment clean every night but Saturday and Sunday, I just let it go because we hit it hard on Monday.  I would like to see the Jazz final roster k?  Dad I really wish that I could get your guidance on certain things but I know that is all part of growing up for two years.  I love you Dad and hope to hear from you soon!!!

Hey Mom!  Love you!  I am doing great!!  It is crazy how fast the time is flying huh?  Just read your email, thanks for the pictures!  Yes, I did clean the mold out of my fridge since last week.  I try every week to improve our living conditions.  I just got a terrrrrrrrrrrribbbble haircut today!!!  Oh, how I love my life!  I sent pictures of me and my companion, it was another hard week in the mission.   We taught many people and are progressing but we need to get the ward on our side, to help us in reactivation.  That is our goal for this Sunday!  I sent you a letter today, hopefully you will get it soon.  We did our laundry today and bought food and I got my great haircut! We get no time to relax but what can you do when you are on a mission. ha! ha!  The haircut will save me money!

Church on Sunday I bore my testimony in Spanish.  Church is great we have air conditioning! ha! ha!  No, it is great to see the members.  We had 96 people in church.  Six were investigators and 16 less actives, we worked really hard this week.  96 is the most people we have had at church since April.  But it is really hot and everyone knows we have air-conditioning.
I have a deal with my companion, I cook and he washes the dishes!  Good trade off.  He hates pasta(Hunter lives for pasta) I can buy pasta for 4 pesos or 40 cents.  This is my ham and egg breakfast.
VILLAHERMOSA TEMPLE

Sometimes it is hard to give lessons because we have to get permission from the man of the household unless they are working on the docks.  They work two weeks on the docks and two weeks off.  Sometimes it is tough but we just keep going!  The Lord is helping us so much, don't worry.  It is so worth it!!  I love every minute of it!  I just want you to help the missionaries as much as possible.  When I come home I want to do splits with them, because when a member is present it makes such a difference.  The members role in baptism should not be looked upon lightly.  Tell Grandpa I love him and miss him a lot.  I am re-reading the Book of Mormon with the intent of finding how to serve people better.  So good to hear Camille is loving life in Peru!( Camille is Hunters' friend who is serving a mission in Peru)  Also tell Bella's I love the oils and actually use them often.
Tell Al and Ramona I love them.  I wish I could send letters to everyone but they are so expensive, 40 pesos or four dollars for one letter.  Our area is huge, mom!  One of the biggest in area not population.  I don't think the mission budget applies to Frontera, we spend so much money on travel.  We walk so much, we can't have bikes because they would be stolen.  We rarely take a bus because it costs too much.

Love you mom, got to go!  Tell the family I love them and tell Luke I could still beat him up.(Luke is Hunt's 4 year old brother) KCYA!
